- Campfire stop: Enjoy an evening snack of hot dogs, s'mores, popcorn, and beverages around the fire and catch a story or two about nature after dark.
- Night hike: Navigate the trails without the use of a flashlight. Learn how nocturnal animals have evolved to survive when the sun goes down. Set up motion cameras in the evening and check them in the morning to see what animals use the trails at night.
- Seasonal activities: Decorate Powdermill's trails with edible ornaments you create to help the wildlife get through the end of winter. Explore vernal pools—springtime woodland puddles used by a variety of wildlife.
