to a workshop to a reception, space isn’t a problem in the Parker Room, Powdermill’s largest
gathering area. The room comes complete with a data/video projection
system, DVD and CD players, wireless microphone, lighted podium,

The Permanent Exhibitions Area is a multipurpose space showcasing the center’s natural history and current research exhibitions. Its living stream offers a look at life in Powdermill Run, and the interactive avian display is just fun. Careful, because the deck’s beautiful wooded backdrop may be a little distracting. Outdoor Spaces Casual get-together? Organized activity? The spacious deck and courtyard are open to whatever ideas you may have. Surrounded by gardens and woods, these spaces are all about the possibilities. And right next door, you have access to an outdoor, natural-stone amphitheater at the head of the beautiful Black Birch Trail.
The flexibility that makes the Special Exhibitions Gallery work for a variety of exhibitions means it can accommodate a range of gatherings. The climate is carefully controlled to protect the exhibitions, but you’ll find it a very cool space no matter what your event. Ready to Gather?
